In June 2023, the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution (CAR) verified a new Society in Wyoming. CAR is a lineage society, and each member can trace their ancestors to a patriot who fought in the American Revolution, provided supplies for the patriots, or served in a supportive role.

The ten charter members live in Teton County and Lincoln County, Wyoming; Teton County, Idaho; and Washington State.

Ten members have a mother and/or a grandmother who is a member of the Davey Jackson Chapter, NSDAR. Four members have a father, a grandfather, and a great-great grandfather who are members of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). One member has both the grandmother serving as a Wyoming State DAR officer and a grandfather serving as a Wyoming State SAR Officer.

The chapter elected officers and completed a book donation service project for the children on the Wind River Reservation. They collected library books for the children in kindergarten through eighth grade and added “Happy Reading” and “We Hope You Will Love This Book” labels to each. The Teton County Library assisted with the collection.
