Davey Jackson Chapter is a diverse group of women of all different ages and backgrounds. They share a common bond in that they each have one or more ancestors who provided civil, military, or patriotic service during the American Revolution.
Members serve as volunteers in many community organizations, which include veterans, schools, senior groups, hospitals, churches, Scouts, the library, genealogy classes, and U.S. naturalization ceremonies for new citizens. They work to uphold the objectives of the DAR National Society to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and secure America’s future through better education.
Davey Jackson Chapter has over 60 members, a number of associate members, and many prospective members working on their applications,

Federal Court Judge Rankin provided a moving presentation emphasizing the process for obrtaining citizenship and the responsibilities of all citizens. A social hour following the ceremony gave the new citizens opportunity to mingle and enjoy the moment with their families.
